Mark Warner’s challenge was to kick start its summer school holiday season by encouraging families to book early to secure their place at one of their Mediterranean resorts. The idea was to reach out to Dads, with a 3-week Father’s Day promotion featuring an 8-page insert published on Father’s Day, as well as reader offers in conjunction with The Times.

So what happened? Well, Indigo’s design for the insert was a real winner and it helped drive sales of
£400,000. Some dates even sold out immediately – not bad for a credit crunch Summer!
